Fango came across the poster for the Nicolas Cage remake of THE WICKER MAN, in the AFM section of Variety today, and while I’m pretty much on the fence at this point, I suppose the poster could be worse…
Nu Image/Millennum Films produced it, but it looks as though Warner Bros. is releasing it domestically. Apparently they spent a lot of time on the script for this, as the original had elements that couldn’t be played out today (basically, they had lots of updating to do). The remake, directed by Neil LaBute, stars Nicolas Cage, llen Burstyn, and hottie Leelee Sobieski, and should be hitting theaters later next year.
