idea that you’ve been just dying to get off the ground? Well now’s your chance!

SciFi Wire and enter your short horror/sci-fi/fantasy film in a competition
being held through Sundance channels EXPOSURE.
10 shorts will be shown each week
for 8 weeks, and those who make it to the finals will be shown on SciFi in a one
hour special. Voting will commence after the special and the winner will get to
sit down with the executives at the SciFi channel and discuss making a film for
there channel. Pretty cool huh?
The films will be accepted until
November 20th and online voting ends December 17th.
I’ve also decided to add several
movie ideas for those of you out there who have the equipment but not the
stories. Enjoy and if you win on my ideas name your dog after me!
Preventative Dismemberment- A guy travels back in time to prevent
himself from losing an arm. In the process he goes blind.
Tunnel Frost- A group of guys get snowed into a cottage. While
tunneling out, they get lost within their own tunnel system and one friend goes
insane and begins to kill his other friends.
Pushed to the Limit– A group of Special Forces guys travel back in
time to World War 1, to prevent the birth of a bully that one of the guys had in
high school.
The Real Republican– There’s a mix-up at the poles and an elephant
gets elected president, but because of the U.S. constitution and his high
approval rating they allow him to stay in office. 2 years into his term he is
assassinated by a giraffe.
