If you head over HERE you can check it out in all of its meatiness. He doesn’t really discuss or reveal anything new per se, he just talks about what it’s been like going from THE EVIL DEAD to what he, Sam Raimi, and Robert Tapert are doing today. Actually, that part’s pretty interesting – check it out:
Q: I was trying to figure out why – you and Sam and Rob all acted and produced and directed at various times. But now we know Sam as a director, Rob as a producer, and you are the actor. How did everyone end up filling into those roles?
Bruce Campbell: Well, Rob was a numbers guy. He was in economics. That was a logical thing. And he had known a family lawyer who could help. And Rob was the only guy who had ever heard of the words “limited partnership.” Sam and I were like, “What?” And he seemed to want to do that. And I know that Sam, the more Super-8s he made, the more he tried out new stuff, and the more you could see that this was what he wanted to do. I mean, he was as funny on camera as anybody. Just look at the movie Indian Summer. He’s a spaz. That’s the crap he would do non-stop.
I know there’s a handful of you out there who have been asking yourself the same damn thing for the last 20 years… and there you have it! The overally interview is a damn fine one, so if that little taste has you wanting more, you should head over THIS WAY to check the rest of it out!
