Captivity Gets Rated

For the four of you out there who actually give a flying f*ck, the Elisha Cuthbert horror flick CAPTIVITY has officially been rated by the MPAA. After much debate with After Dark Films for the too hot to handle marketing campaign, I’m pleased to announced that CAPTIVITY will in fact, be rated R.

Why the hell you so pleased, you ask? Because it didn’t get slammed with an NC-17, or some other bullshite, which means we won’t have to hear about it anymore until it’s release. At least, we can only hope. Anyone else sick of all the hoopla that this P.O.S. is getting? What’s the big deal here? All this fuss for a crappy horror flick? Ridiculous… utterly ridiculous.

MPAA rated it R for Strong violence, torture, pervasive terror, grizzly images, language and some sexual material. So what’s missing here? Hows about rated R for ‘showing off Elisha’s hot, naked, sweaty body’? Where’s that rating? If it even alluded to the fact that I might see her naked, I’d check it out… but now that I know it doesn’t- well, f*ck it. I might check it out on DVD.

CAPTIVITY hits theaters June 22nd (right up there against 1408).
