Cara Delevingne joins Orlando Bloom in Carnival Row

One of the movie hotties I tend to keep my eye on nowadays is Cara Delevingne. And not because of SUICIDE SQUAD. Okay, maybe a tiny bit because of that flick. I mean check out the image below from that film and tell me you weren't excited as hell for her part.

Too bad the movie was the definition of f*cking atrocious.

No matter though as Delevingne is headed back to our screens in a series that will (hopefully) be worth our time and her talents. Yes, Amazon's upcoming fantasy-drama series CARNIVAL ROW has just cast supermodel turned actress Cara Delevingne to star alongside Orlando Bloom.

Delevingne will play Vignette Stonemoss, "a fairish refugee who flees her war-torn homeland to come to the Burgue. There, she must contend not only with rampant human prejudice against her kind but with the secrets that have followed her to this new land."

Which makes sense considering the series' synopsis:

Carnival Row will feature mythical creatures who have fled their war-torn homeland and gathered in the city as tensions are simmering between citizens and the growing immigrant population. At the center of the drama is the investigation into a string of unsolved murders, which are eating away at whatever uneasy peace still exists.

What do you think of CARNIVAL ROW thus far and goes Cara Delevingne's casting change your mind either way? Make sure to let us know your thoughts on Facebook, Twitter, and/or Instagram!

CARNIVAL ROW is written and executive produced by Rene Echevarria with Paul McGuigan directing and executive producing alongside Travis Beacham and Orlando Bloom.

The eight-episode fantasy noir is set to begin filming this fall for a 2019 release.

SUICIDE SQUAD looked so badass… What a waste…
