Another exclusive received by us today, this time dealing with the based-on-actual-events thriller CARVER, which comes to us via Two for Flinching Pictures (GREAT freakin’ name, btw)
Flick deals with five 20-somethings who go camping in the mountain town of Halcyon Ridge, and never return. That’s all the info we have, making their method of dispatchment all the more interesting (I’m guessing they didn’t live happily ever after on Lollypop Lane).
This is Two For Flinching’s second feature, the first THE 8TH PLAGUE, won Best Picture honors at the Freak Show Horror Film Festival (aka the coolest-named festival in history).
Director Franklin Guerrero Jr. said about CARVER: “I wanted to do something a little more fun in nature. It’s not fun as in “horror-comedy”. It’s pretty dark however it’s got a darkly humorous edge to it and we are all pretty excited about the film.”
