Cast shares pics from the set of video game movie Monster Hunter

Production is well underway on RESIDENT EVIL franchise mastermind Paul W.S. Anderson's new video game adaptation MONSTER HUNTER, and the cast – which includes Anderson's wife / RESIDENT EVIL star Milla Jovovich – is proving to be pretty good about sharing glimpses behind the scenes on their Instagram accounts.

MONSTER HUNTER is set in

a world behind our own, where dangerous and powerful monsters rule their domain with deadly ferocity. When Lt. Artemis (Jovovich) and her loyal soldiers are transported from our world to the new world, the unflappable lieutenant receives the shock of her life. In her desperate battle for survival against enormous enemies with incredible powers, Artemis will team with a mysterious man who has found a way to fight back.

Jovovich is joined in the cast by Tony Jaa, Tip "T.I." Harris, Ron Perlman, Diego Boneta, Josh Helman, and Meagan Good.

Featured below are a handful of images, many of them taken by photographer Gifted Talents, that Jovovich, Harris, Boneta, and Good have shared, shots of their soldier characters and the weapons and vehicles they'll be using in their battle against giant monsters.

MONSTER HUNTER began filming in the Cape Town, South Africa area on October 1st, and production isn't expected to wrap until the first half of December. We won't be seeing this one next year; MONSTER HUNTER will be reaching theatres sometime in 2020

I wasn't a fan of what Anderson did with RESIDENT EVIL, I enjoyed the first movie but then quickly gave up on the series, so I'm hoping MONSTER HUNTER will be an improvement.
