Cast This: The Expendables 3

With the recent news that Clint Eastwood, Harrison Ford, Wesley Snipes and Nicolas Cage are being courted for EXPENDABLES 3, it got us here at JoBlo.com wondering who our ideal cast would be.

Some action greats have already been cast in the first EXPENDABLES film, and now in the sequel. Stallone? Check. Van Damme? Check. Statham? Check. Schwarzenegger? Check. But who are we missing? This is up to you! The possibilities are endless. You want an all female EXPENDABLES? GO FOR IT!

I’ll do my best to calculate the most popular responses and put together an overall dream team with the results in the next “Cast This” column.

RESULTS FROM PREVIOUS ‘CAST THIS’: BATMAN

1. Michael Fassbender 2. Jon Hamm 3. Timothy Olyphant/Jim Caviezel

Going through a bazillion Batman/Bruce Wayne ideas, there was a pretty strong lead for Fassbender. Hamm got semi-close. Then you have Olyphant and Caviezel tied for third place. I was surprised by Caviezel. One person suggested it, then people were like, “That ain’t so bad”. I was really pulling for the Idris Elba people. If there was a 6th place, he would have got it. I liked the majority of the suggestions. I wanted to leave it open for you guys since there have been different interpretations of Wayne over the years. Plus, there’s always Dick Grayson.
