Aww, this is just gonna break all of your hearts, cuz I know most of you just adore Paul W.S. Anderson, he who brought us that cinematic marvel ALIEN VS. PREDATOR. The man’s out of a job as of right now, having just left the CASTLEVANIA, the feature film adaptation of the Konami game about a whip-crackin’, Death-dodgin’, hard-drinkin’ vampire hunter (alright I dunno if he’s a hard drinker, I just naturally assumed…). No real reason has been given, either he got tired of sitting it out in development hell, or something better came along. Perhaps the DEATH RACE 2000 reboot, which he’s long been attached to, has gained new momentum. Perhaps he’s just too busy writing another RESIDENT EVIL go-round.
Paul, if you want my advice, I think a film adaptation of DIG DUG is in order. Or JOUST. Hey, who the hell doesn’t want to see a couple dudes duking it out on giant, egg-crushing ostriches?!
“Hey uh, there’s nothin weird about what I’m doing, right?”
