The Wrap has reported that an exceptionally talented pair will bring Lucille Ball to life once again in a biopic authorized by her children, Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucie Arnaz.
Escape Artists is developing the Lucille Ball biopic and they've snagged Aaron Sorkin to pen the script which has Cate Blanchett attached to star. Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz were married in 1940 and just over ten years later went on to create and star in I Love Lucy, one of the most popular and influential television shows of all time. The film will chronicle their twenty-year marriage, of which the filming of I Love Lucy will surely play a large part. Now, who should play Desi Arnaz, Vivian Vance, and William Frawley?
