It’s Thursday, it’s time you start looking forward to the weekend and trying to set things up now for something to do. If you don’t have any plans (hell, even if you do), and you live in the Franklin, Indiana area, then I may just have your ticket to good times and all around fun. It’s called THE B MOVIE CELEBRATION, and it’s the kind of film festival of classics you can really sink your genre loving teeth into!
Basically, if you’re a fan of old school horror, or just pure and simple cheese, back when horror made you the fan you are today, then this beast is for you! Described as Part Film School, Part Film Festival and all Circus, this is one celebration of horror you don’t wanna miss… if you live in Indiana, that is.
The party begins tomorrow, August 17th, and runs through Sunday, the 19th. This Celebration not only features the showings of classic horror flicks, but will have special guests in attendance as well, including Lloyd Kaufman, Tom Savini and a gaggle of directors covering everything from the classics, to the independent scene of today. Throw in a few seminars touching on effects, writing and the art of B movies, and you have yourself a horrific wet dream come true.
