Check out Satan’s chest in new SFX pics from Rob Zombie’s Lords of Salem

Last month we got a look at Wayne Toth working on the special effects for Rob Zombie’s THE LORDS OF SALEM, and then Zombie himself said that the film will be very practical effects-heavy with no plans for CGI. Now the writer/director has updated his blog with a couple more teases at the special effects.

The file names of the pictures, which can be seen to the right and below, is Satan’s Chest – so I guess we’ll be seeing the devil himself in the flick. And, judging by the early look at the SFX, he’s going to be grotesque with lots of titties! Here’s what Zombie had to say:

“What the fuck is Wayne Toth working on now? More nasty business for Lords. And to answer your questions… YES! There will be a lot of tits in the film as seen in the pics below.”

Toth has provided the special effects on all of Zombie’s previous works. His latest is currently in pre-production. Jason Blum, Oren Peli and Steven Schneider – the team behind PARANORMAL ACTIVITY – are producing for Haunted Movies.

Heidi, a blonde rock chick, DJs at a local radio station, and together with the two Hermans (Whitey and Munster) forms part of the “Big H Radio Team”.

A mysterious wooden box containing a vinyl record arrives for Heidi, “a gift from the Lords”. She assumes it’s a rock band on a mission to spread their word. As Heidi and Whitey play the Lords’ record, it starts to play backwards, and Heidi experiences a flashback to a past trauma.

Later Whitey plays the Lords’ record, dubbing them the Lords of Salem, and to his surprise, the record plays normally and is a massive hit with listeners.

The arrival of another wooden box from the Lords presents the Big H Team with free tickets, posters and records to host a gig in Salem. Soon Heidi and her cohorts find that the gig is far from the rock spectacle they’re expecting: the original Lords of Salem are returning, and they’re out for BLOOD.

Zombie’s wife, Sheri Moon – let’s see her chest too!
