Check out the Trailer for Italian psychological horror flick Mad in Italy

It seems like we’ve had an itch to tell you all about lesser-known international horror here at AITH recently, no? I mean we’ve always brought you shite we think you might be interested in but it seems like we’re paying attention more and more to the little flicks out there that might fall into the cracks.

Today I’m here to talk about one of those very flicks from Italy called MAD IN ITALY. Well damn the title says it all doesn’t it? The psychological thriller comes from director Paolo Fazzini and tells the true story of one girl’s ordeal to stay alive at the hands of a young maniac. Well that sounds like fun now, doesn’t it? MAD IN ITALY: Birth of a Serial Killer, according to Fazzini, is the ‘first Italian feature to comment about the financial crisis, home loans, dirty politicians and a serial killer.’ Coming from E2=G Productions, the film is currently in post-production and stars Gianluca Testa, Eleonora Bolla, Rodolfo Medina, Giovanni Maria Buzzatti, Andrea de Bruyn, Maurizio Vannicola and Paolo Sciamanna. Below I’ve also tossed up a short behind the scenes clip from MAD IN ITALY showing how they get things a little bloody.
