One movie that’s looking like all kinds of twisted is the home invasion thriller CHERRY TREE LANE, which is coming at us from our neighbors across the pond. Well to quote Jason Statham from LONDON: “The English are VERY f*cked up mate.” That about sums up CHERRY TREE LANE perfectly from what I’ve seen. Agreed?
Back in February we got a look at some stills and a poster for the feature but unfortunately we haven’t heard zilch from the production since then. It took a few months but today we’ve finally got the trailer for CHERRY TREE LANE for you all to check out! Coming at us courtesy of Empire the trailer pretty much sums up what we already knew: We’re in store for some twisted shite in CHERRY TREE LANE. Don’t take my word for it though, check out the trailer for yourself right over HERE!
Christine and Mike are your average parents. They live in an ordinary house on a regular street with their teenage son, Sebastian. It’s early evening, and like many working parents there’s still dinner to prepare, a phone call to be made, and a bottle of wine to be opened. They settle in and unwind from the hustle and bustle of everyday life.
There’s a knock at the front door…
A married couple’s night is interrupted when a group of teenagers break into the house and take them hostage, waiting for the son to come home. The teenagers want revenge for the son having grassed up their cousin.
Paul Andrew Williams is directing this one with a cast that includes Rachael Blake, Jennie Jacques, Jumayn Hunter, Sonny Muslim, Tom Butcher, Ashley Chin, Corinne Douglas and Kieran Dooner. CHERRY TREE LANE seems to be inching closer to a release date though nothing has been announced yet. As always as soon as we hear something you’ll be the first to know!
