Way back in December Eric told us all about this flick heading our way from director Antoni Sole called WEB CAM. You guys remember that? We might’ve just chalked WEB CAM up as nothing at all if not for Mr. Robert Englund. Ah now you guys remember, right?
Well today we’ve got a huge update for the Englund starring WEB CAM! We’ve got an official website, a synopsis, some art for the flick and a trailer! Now that’s a goodie basket if I’ve ever seen one! First up let me hit you all with the synopsis, straight from the film’s official website:
An average day of an average summer in an average western metropolis.
A modern skyscraper is the crossroad of five destinies, five young folks that accidentally venture into a slice of Hell on Earth. And come face to face with the very essence of Evil. WEB CAM is set in a world and an era recognizably our own, in which torture and murder meet the comfort of daylight, prefiguring an apocalyptic horror that no society could bear to confront.
Or the much simpler: Web Cam tells the story of a man who lures a group of high school kids to a party, films them using discreet cameras and broadcasts it on the net. People are then asked to vote on who should die and who should live. Whichever you prefer.
