Chiller TV planning on adapting two brand new films: Remains & Ghoul

Just a few days ago Eric hit you all with the news that Brian Keene’s genre novel GHOUL was getting adapted by Modernciné. Remember that? Sure you do. Well now we know what the plan is for this one!

You see, according to Multichannel News the genre channel Chiller TV are planning on continuing their growing success by putting out two original films and a brand new genre special! Is this great news? Hell yeah it is!

As if you couldn’t guess already, GHOUL will indeed be one of those films. The other is REMAINS, which is based off the Steve Niles graphic novel of the same name. Scope out the rundown for the two:

GHOUL: No one believes Timmy when he tells them he and his friends discovered a ghoul eating the dead in a local cemetery; but when the ghoul starts attacking the living as well as the dead, Timmy realizes it’s up to him and his friends to stop it. Gregory Wilson will be directing with Catherine Mary Stewart set to star.

REMAINS: Follows the two lone survivors of a bizarre accident that reduced most of the world’s population to zombies. Colin Theys will be directing a script by John Doolan.

As far as Chiller TV’s next genre special goes we’ll be seeing something a lot similar to their successful “Chiller 13: The Decade’s Scariest Movie Moments.” This time we’ve got “Chiller 13: Horror’s Creepiest Kids.” They’re gonna narrow that sh*t down to 13?? Good luck!

So there you have it folks! Some interesting projects to look forward to if you’re an avid watcher of Chiller TV, or perhaps enough reasons to become one! We’ll be on the lookout for news regarding the trio of projects so check back soon for more!
