China got their own gorgeous, manga-style poster for Wonder Woman

In my opinion, anyone who says that WONDER WOMAN isn't receiving a tremendous amount of love in regard to the marketing of her upcoming solo film hasn't been paying close enough attention. In the past few months alone, I've seen the amazonian warrior's likeness on everything from cans of soda pop to t-shirts, billboards in New York's Times Square, and much, much more! In truth, the only thing left for us to do as fans is to purchase our theater tickets in advance, and let Warner Bros. know that yes, our bodies are ready!

With that said, I'll tell you who else is ready for Wonder Woman's arrival, China! I know this because, this afternoon, a gorgeous, manga-style poster for WONDER WOMAN was released which features characters Steve Trevor, Hippolyta, and Wonder Woman herself each looking battle-ready and prepared to conquer the box office by storm. The poster comes from Chinese artist Zcool HJW. According to Zcool’s personal website (and Google Translate) the artist has been a comic fan since childhood and was commissioned by Tencent Films (the Chinese production company backing WONDER WOMAN) to create posters and promo art for the film.

The result is the jaw-droppingly bad ass poster you see below:

Hot damn! Order me one of those to be hung in my office, I don't even care how much the shipping will cost!

WONDER WOMAN, directed by Patty Jenkins and starring Gal Gadot, Chris Pine, Robin Wright, David Thewlis, Connie Nielsen, Elena Anaya, and Lucy Davis will arrive in theaters with bracelets blazing on June 2, 2017.
