Chloe Sevigny set to headline Lizzie Borden mini-series for HBO

One real-life story that has always caught my attention is the story of Lizzie Borden. So when news on an HBO mini-series about the axe-murderer comes across my desk you can bet your ass I’m going to tell you about it!

According to Deadline Hollywood actress Chloe Sevigny is the driving force behind this project, having brought the idea to producers Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman. The duo dug it and now we’ve got the mini-series LIZZIE BORDEN to look forward to, which Sevigny (below) will be starring in.

The four hour miniseries will be about the infamous story of Lizzie Borden who, in 1893, was acquitted of murdering her overbearing father and step-mother with a hatchet, but was publically condemned.

So Chloe Sevigny as Lizzie Borden on HBO with Tom Hanks producing…. Sounds like a winner to me! We’ll keep our eyes open for more on the project so be sure to check back soon for updates!
