Chris Evans on his favorite Captain America moment in the MCU

Since his first appearance in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE FIRST AVENGER nearly a decade ago, Chris Evans has become one of the most valued members of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, which makes it all the more bittersweet as it's expected that he'll likely be hanging up his shield following AVENGERS: ENDGAME. The actor has brought plenty of great Captain America moments to life throughout multiple films, but Chris Evans recently told THR that his favourite Cap moment took place in CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER.

I'm partial to that fight scene in the elevator. That was the first scene we shot in the second Captain America movie. That was my first time working with the Russos. It was the first time where it felt like Cap was kind of on his own. The first Cap movie, you really felt like everybody was holding my hand, and the first Avengers movie, I just did my best to not get in the way. The second Cap movie is the one where I kind of really felt, I suppose, pressure. And that elevator fight scene came out really great in my opinion.

One of my favourites as well. Although Chris Evans wouldn't spill anything about the upcoming AVENGERS: ENDGAME, he did tease that his final day on set was "surprisingly emotional." In regards to whether or not he's taken any Captain America keepsakes home with him, Evans revealed that they gave him the shield and the cowl, but that he's going to ask for the full suit as well. "I'm gonna ask for the full suit. I never ask for the full suit. [Chris] Hemsworth got the full suit. I want the full suit," Evans said. If anyone deserves it, it's you. AVENGERS: ENDGAME, which will serve as the culmination of the past decade of MCU movies, will hit theaters on April 26, 2019.
