Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller & Jurnee Smollett to star in Spiderhead

No, this is not some new entry into the Spider-verse. It is actually a new Netflix movie called SPIDERHEAD that is being directed by Joseph Kosinski (TOP GUN: MAVERICK). Oh yeah, and Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller and Jurnee Smollett have just signed on the dotted line to star in it! Hell of a cast! And hell of a plot! Check this:

SPIDERHEAD is set in the near future, when convicts are offered the chance to volunteer as medical subjects in hopes of shortening their sentences. The focus is on two prisoners who become the test patients for emotion-altering drugs that force the prisoners to grapple with their pasts in a facility run by a brilliant visionary who supervises the program.

This thing sounds freakin fantastic! SPIDERHEAD was originally a short story published in The New Yorker by George Saunders, but get this: the script was written by the scribes behind ZOMBIELAND and DEADPOOL, Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick! This whole thing sounds like a recipe for awesomeness! I'll be sure to keep on eye on this one and when it's set to release! Do you guys agree with me? Either way, let us know in the comments section below!
