Chris Nolan is hardly one to produce films outside of his own. Zack Snyder’s THE MAN OF STEEL has been the lone exception so far, but now it seems the A-list visionary is setting up his second producorial effort. And aren’t we lucky…it’s a supernatural thriller!
Word from Deadline is Nolan’s company Syncopy has struck a deal with Warner Bros. to usher in a new genre flick. Nolan has handpicked Keith Gordon (who starred in CHRISTINE, or better yet, played Jason Melon in BACK TO SCHOOL) to write and direct the untitled thriller. More accurately, Gordon will adapt from a novel that’s yet to be announced.
Of course, Nolan is hard at work filming THE DARK KNIGHT RISES in Pittsburgh right now. Gordon (seen above) on the other hand has directed TV and film dating as far back as 1988. Most recently, he’s helmed episodes of “Dexter” and “The Killing.” Sounds like perfect practice for lending his vision toward a full-length feature. Don’t you think?
