Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 Chris Pratt James Gunn

Several years ago people were scratching their heads at how a film which featured a giant walking tree and his talking racoon companion could possibly fit in with the Marvel Cinematic Universe. As we now know, GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY was a huge success both critically and commercially and its sequel was soon one of Marvel's most anticipated films. It's much too early to tell if director James Gunn and his cast of galactic misfits will be able to strike gold once again, but there are more eyes than ever on the sequel. Production just wrapped on GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 and James Gunn took to Facebook to thank Chris Pratt and reveal their plans for the upcoming San Diego Comic-Con 2016.

Long story short, both James Gunn and Chris Pratt (plus some special guests) will turn up at Comic-Con to show us “something pretty cool." San Diego Comic-Con 2016 will run from July 21 to 24 at the San Diego Convention Center.

GUARDIANS OF THE GALAXY VOL. 2 will hit theaters on May 5, 2017.
