Last month held some massive updates for Frank Miller’s THE SPIRIT, including stills, posters, and the teaser trailer.
Well we’ve got another SPIRIT update for you all today via Variety, and this one involves the release date. Originally slated for a January 2009 release, Lionsgate are now dropping THE SPIRIT one month eariler… on Christmas Day!
I’m guessing last month’s updates were received very well, prompting Lionsgate to drop this gritty graphic novel adaptation on Christmas Day. Then again… how can you go wrong with Eva Mendes (below), Scarlett Johansson, Paz Vega, Jamie King, Sarah Paulson, and Samuel L. Jackson all rolled into one great Christmas present from Frank Miller? You can’t.
