MISSION IMPOSSIBLE fans got some good news last month when it was announced the fifth installment in the franchise will be in theaters in July instead of on Christmas Day. Here's some more great news about the upcoming film: It will also play on IMAX screens worldwide when it opens this summer. This isn't a huge shocker since MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL was partially filmed with IMAX cameras and had an early release in the large-format theaters.

Ugh, why do I have to live two f*cking hours away from the nearest IMAX theater? Although I didn't love MISSION IMPOSSIBLE: GHOST PROTOCOL like some people, I still thought it was a great film, and I'm very interested in seeing what director Christopher McQuarrie will do with the franchise.
