Cinema of Fear lineup

If you’re a collector of horror movie memorabilia than chances are you’ve heard of CINEMA OF FEAR. Now Mezco’s CINEMA OF FEAR may not be as good as McFarlene’s MOVIE MANIACS or NECA’s CULT CLASSICS… but it’s still pretty cool. My favorite line from CINEMA would be Screen Grabs. But I’m not here to talk about Screen Grabs. Instead I’m here to tell you a bunch of CINEMA OF FEAR updates coming from Action-Figure.com.

A-F.com recently got a look at Mezco’s recent press release for CINEMA OF FEAR and decided to share it with all of us. Mezco has six new lines of figures coming to their CINEMA OF FEAR. Here’s what we’re told from the press release:

TINY TERRORS: Legendary monsters that fit in your pocket! Mezco’s new Tiny Terrors will send fun filled chills down your spine! These chunky mini versions of Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface are ready to jump out of the shadows and into your toy chest. Each feature articulated parts and are packaged individually.

CINEMA OF FEAR 3.75 INCH FIGURES: Fear comes to 1/18th scale! Mezco’s newest scale format is now part of the Cinema Of Fear collection. Reducing horror icons and keeping all the detail and articulation, each figures comes with film accurate accessories. Jason Voorhees has a machete, ax, and removable mask. Freddy Krueger has a removable hat and garbage can lid. Leatherface comes with his trusty chainsaw and mallet. Each figure comes packaged with its own display base.

CINEMA OF FEAR MINI PLUSH: Horror never looked so cuddly! Mezco recreates Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface as 100% plush figures. Each freestanding figure is approximately 7 inches tall and is complete with their famous accouterments; Jason with his machete, Freddy with his glove, and Leatherface with his chainsaw.

DELUXE 12INCH NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET FREDDY: Mezco celebrates the twenty-fifth anniversary of A Nightmare On Elm Street with a deluxe 12inch Freddy Krueger figure. Featuring nearly a dozen points of articulation, this rotocast killer features a real cloth film accurate sweater. Lift the sweater to reveal the souls of Freddy’s victims imprisoned in his chest. Freddy features a miniature of the marionette as seen in his 3rd film, and a removable hat.

URBAN VINYL NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET FREDDY: Continuing their highly popular series with a third offering, Mezco gives Freddy Krueger the urban vinyl treatment and creates and instant classic. Featuring 8 points of articulation, Freddy comes with a scale Elm St sign and a removable cloth sweater, as well as the infamous tongue phone.

CINEMA OF FEAR HELL RODS: Mezco’s mash-up of Horror Icons & Monster Hot Rod art are a perfect fit. Mixing its popular Cinema Of Fear line with custom car culture and Urban Vinyl, and the result is awesome! Cinema Of Fear Hell Rods feature three maniac drivers; Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, and Leatherface. Each is approximately 4 inches tall and feature insane detail. A must have for horror fiends, gear heads & collectors of the cool.
