Clive Barker teases a return to directing via ‘tweet’ about Abarat III

How do you guys feel about Clive Barker? Chances are you’re a fan. I mean… How can you be a fan of the horror genre and not dig Clive Barker? So with that being said I’ve come here today to bring you all the word that Mr. Barker is teasing us about his next directing gig! Please try and contain your excitement.

You see over on the filmmaker’s Twitter page he recently posted a set of ‘tweets’ that seem harmless but at a closer look reveals that Barker does indeed have a project lined up! Check it:

Hello my friends, I’m heading to bed early tonight.Tomorrow Christopher Carrion comes to life,in a filmed trailer for ABARAT III. The director of the three minute taste of the Abarat is my great friend Mark Miller. Make up and effects by the talented Stephen Imhoff, and Chris Alex., who will be working on my next movie. Special effects by Brandon Mahlberg. This has been a long time in the making.

You see that shite! Not only does the man have a project lined up but he’s apparently already knee deep in production if there’s already a makeup and effects team lined up. Unfortunately we don’t have any info on this new project but I’m sure we’ll get official word on this soon. As always as soon as we hear more we’ll be sure to pass the good word along to all of you!
