Yes yes, I know we’re all a little sick of CLOVERFIELD at this point – furthermore, all of these “CLOVERFIELD MONSTER REVEALED?” headlines that web-journalists, including myself, are guilty of… BUT, this is pretty interesting. Some impressive fan art has hit the web showing the big boy at the center of the flick, and I’ve got to say that IF it’s accurate, this beast is even more outlandish than I had imagined. I was picturing a Godzilla-type monster, this is more – I dunno – RETURN OF THE JEDI?
If you hit up /Film, you can see a few different sketches, all somewhat similar to one another (in all but one full body shot it’s got 6 limbs, a long tail, and teeth.) Then head on over to Bloody Disgusting, where they’ve posted what appears to be a sketch of one of the little buggers that “Cloverfield” brings along with it. Again, this is creepy stuff – a bit “Lovecraftian” if you will…
