Cold Prey star Ingrid Bolsø Berdal joins the jam packed cast of Hansel & Gretel

The last we heard about Tommy Wirkola’s HANSEL & GRETEL: WITCH HUNTERS came last week, when we got the news that the film was being bumped up a whopping 9 months! And here we are just a few days later with some brand new casting news for the film!

According to the guys over at Bloody-Disgusting they just heard from a source that says Ingrid Bolsø Berdal is the latest name to join HANSEL & GRETEL. Not only that, but apparently the star of the international COLD PREY franchise will ‘be wearing some cool prosthetics and is described as being “superbad” and “a hardcore killing machine.”‘ Well that works for me!

WITCH HUNTERS chronicles the fairy-tale siblings 15 years after their traumatic gingerbread house incident, which provoked them to become witch bounty hunters.

Berdal (above) joins the previously announced Jeremy Renner, Gemma Arterton (below), and Famke Janssen in the film, which is due out March 2, 2012. I’m sure lots more HANSEL & GRETEL goods will be coming our way so be sure to check back soon for updates!
