Comic-Con International 2013 is nearly upon us and we are all currently wondering what is ahead of us in terms of programming. Unfortunately the schedules aren’t out yet, however we did get some news on what Marvel and Sony plan to bring to Hall H this year.
Marvel will present THOR: THE DARK WORLD and CAPTAIN AMERICA: THE WINTER SOLDIER. Sort of a no-brainer there. Marvel head, Kevin Feige is the only announced panelist though it is expected that “many special guests” will be joining him on Saturday, July 20th.
Sony will be showing off THE AMAZING SPIDER-MAN 2 with director Marc Webb, Andrew Garfield, Jamie Foxx and Dane DeHaan on hand to dish about their experience and field questions from adoring Spidey fans. ROBOCOP should be an interesting panel with director Jose Padilha, Joel Kinnaman, Abbie Cornish, and Samuel L. Jackson there to help present (hopefully) the first footage from the film. I am sad that I will not be around to catch CLOUDY WITH A CHANCE OF MEATBALLS 2 which will feature directors Cody Cameron and Kris Pearn, Anna Faris, and Terry Crews. Though I will say that Bill Hader being absent from the line-up is kind of depressing.
