Anyone up for another movie starring
a wrestler? No. Well too bad because it’s happening and we’ve got the one-sheet
to prove it.

for the film THE CONDEMNED, starring none other that ex-wrestler Steve
Austin. The film has a premise that would be almost enjoyable if it wasn’t for
Austin leading the pack, but what do I know.
The film is about
Jack Conrad (Steve Austin),
who is awaiting the death penalty in a corrupt Central American prison. He is
“purchased” by a wealthy television producer and taken to a desolate island
where he must fight to the death against nine other condemned killers from all
corners of the world, with freedom going to the sole survivor. The producer
films the illegal event, airing the killings live and uncensored onto the
internet.
Now the film
does genuinely seem like it could be a mindless action fest, which is always
nice from time to time, but with Austin head lining, well it’s pretty obvious
who the winner will be, and it won’t be the fans!. The film will be produced by
Lions Gate and hit’s theatre’s on April 27th.
