Not too long ago we learned that Johann Urb was one of the newest names to join Paul W.S. Anderson’s RESIDENT EVIL: RETRIBUTION. We told you that shite earlier this week. What we didn’t know was who Urb would be playing… until today! And guess where we got the update from?
You guessed it! The one and only Milla Jovovich! The actress has gone to her Twitter once again to drop some RESIDENT EVIL news with the following ‘tweet:’ “AND if u checked out my vid yesterday from the table reading u wld hve noticed Johann Urb! He is our Leon Kennedy n looks jst like him BTW!!”
As you can tell from the pictures above she ain’t just whistling dixie. Urb is practically a dead lock for ‘Leon Kennedy!’ Don’t know if this is the perfect casting but I suppose we’ll find out, right?
Along with Urb and Jovovich (below) the fifth RESIDENT EVIL flick is also set to star Michelle Rodriguez, Sienna Guillory, Kevin Durand, Oded Fehr, Colin Salmon, Shawn Roberts and Boris Kodjoe. It doesn’t hit theaters until September 14, 2012 so expect a lot more RETRIBUTION updates to come our way between now and then, most I’m sure coming from Mrs. Jovovich’s Twitter.
