Any “Dexter” fans out there?
I know television shows don’t get a whole lot of run around these parts, but when it comes to daring, relatively uncensored fare like HBO’s “True Blood” or Showtime’s “Dexter,” we’re more than willing to shed a little love now and again. And that’s exactly what I’m doing here, y’all. You see, we’ve just caught word that Julia Stiles has joined the likes of Michael C. Hall and Jennifer Carpenter for the 5th season of “Dexter,” as previously speculated.
According to the official press release:
Julia Stiles has joined the cast of SHOWTIME’s Emmy-nominated drama series DEXTER. Stiles, who will appear in ten episodes in the upcoming fifth season, will play a mysterious young woman who forms a unique relationship with Dexter (Michael C. Hall) in the wake of the death of his wife. Production on season five begins this month and will premiere in the fall on SHOWTIME.
Ten episodes? A bit more than a throwaway guest spot, eh? Looks like Stiles will be stickin’ around for a bit. You guys and dolls down with that? Pissed off over this casting decision? Or could you not care any less?
Season 5 of “Dexter” airs September 26th.
