Constant 2 is On!

Say what you will about Keanu Reeves and his mad acting skills (or lack there of), CONSTANTINE was a well delivered ride, and managed to squeak in as one of the top 10 movies of 2005. Which makes this little bit of news from the boys over at Rope of Silicon all that more exciting: CONSTANTINE 2 is in the works!

They had a chance to chat with producer Lauren Shuler Donner, who spilled the beans on the project by saying “We are really going to go for it, it will be a hard ‘R’ and Keanu [Reeves] will be in it. The area that we found is great, it will be outside of America. It will be a different director but Francis [Lawrence] will produce it, we will maintain his vision.

Nice! A hard R rating is always something to look forward to, and yes… I’m even looking forward to watching Reeves kick some more ass as Constantine a second time around (let’s face it- it couldn’t be anybody else, the guy owns the role!).
