Paper Cuts is a show on YouTube by Shut Up! Cartoons that celebrates cinema by taking film trailers, as well as popular scenes from the classics, and remaking them entirely out of paper. They are the creative team behind hand-drawn cutout reenactments of movies like MAN OF STEEL and RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK. This time, however, they have focused their creative minds on the horror genre with James Wan's THE CONJURING trailer. Before there was Amityville, there was Harrisville. Based on a true story, The Conjuring tells the horrifying tale of how world-renowned paranormal investigators Ed and Lorraine Warren were called upon to help a family terrorized by a dark presence in a secluded farmhouse. Forced to confront a powerful demonic entity, the Warrens find themselves caught in the most terrifying case of their lives.
THE CONJURING opens in theaters on July 19th and stars Vera Farmiga, Patrick Wilson, Ron Livingston, Lili Taylor, Joey King, Shanley Caswell, Haley McFarland, Mackenzie Foy, Kyla Deaver and Sterling Jerins.
