Get it while it’s hot! Or still around… Here’s some brand new footage from TERMINATOR: SALVATION that may make some skeptics (like myself) a little more intrigued about the McG film, set for a MAY 2009 release.
This isn’t a trailer but a featurette, describing the creation of the various (and I do mean various) new Terminators we’ll be seeing in the new flick. Most compelling is “The Harvester”, which looks like a giant version of the classic T-800. In addition, we see the T-600, a bulkier, even scarier version of the evil cyborg. Finally, we see a young Kyle Reese (Anton Yelkin), Marcus (Sam Worthington) and of course, John Connor himself (Christian Bale) in action.
I must say, the movie looks effectively bleak, along the lines of MAD MAX. That works for men, especially in light of TERMINATOR 3’s bland made-for-T.V. color palette. We’ll find out if this thing is friend or for on MAY 22.
