Cool Videos: Johnny Depp stars as Donald Trump in The Art of the Deal spoof

Johnny Depp may not have landed an Oscar nomination for his portrayal of Whitey Bulger in BLACK MASS, but he makes one hell of a Donald Trump in this faux movie from Funny or Die. Today the site began streaming Funny Or Die Presents Donald Trump’s The Art Of The Deal: The Movie, which stars "Depp as a young Donald Trump in the 1988 made-for-TV movie he wrote, directed, and starred in, based on his international best-selling book The Art of the Deal. As legend has it, when the film was pre-empted for Monday Night Football, a furious Trump pulled the movie and no one has seen the delightfully dated masterpiece since. Until now, of course."

In addition to Depp, the 50-minute comedy also stars Michaela Watkins as Ivana Trump, as well as Alfred Molina, Stephen Merchant, Patton Oswalt, Jack McBrayer, Andy Richter, Paul Scheer, Henry Winkler, Rob Huebel and ALF. Yes, that ALF.

Apparently Depp spent four days in early December filming the fake flick, which was supposedly discovered by Ron Howard (who also narrates) at a yard sale, and during a conversation with The New York Times, Funny or Die co-founder Adam McKay said that his site “views this movie as an important historical document that has been hidden away, much like Jerry Lewis’s Holocaust clown movie.” McKay went on to say that “It was a crazy, completely nuts idea that somehow we pulled off." You'll have to head over to the FOD site to watch the movie, but you can check out the trailer for it below.
