It’s been nearly half a year since last writing about Hammer Films’ THE QUIET ONES, a shame really, especially when you consider the films pedigree. John Pogue (QUARANTINE 2: TERMINAL) directs a solid international cast headed by the great Jared Harris. Not only that, the flick is inspired by true events. Always a more interesting watch.
Anyway, a 3-minute first look at the film via the official Facebook page has been propped up, and we have it below for you to get acquainted with. Not unlike THE WOMAN IN BLACK, THE QUIET ONES looks like a good, old fashioned ghost story…no frills, no unnecessary flash. Definitely digging the look of this one!
Inspired by true events, The Quiet Ones tells the story of an unorthodox, but charismatic Professor (Harris) who uses controversial methods and leads his best students off the grid to take part in a dangerous experiment: to create a poltergeist from negative human energy.
Alongside Harris, is Sam Claflin, Erin Richards (below), Olivia Cooke and West End theater actor Rory Fleck-Byrne.
THE QUIET ONES has yet to lock a release, but will surely hit sometime next year.
