Coster-Waldau and Wallis hunt a killer in The Silencing trailer

Last Updated on July 30, 2021

Back in April, Saban Films announced that they would be releasing director Robin Pront's thriller THE SILENCING in the United States. Now we know the release dates they're aiming for, and a trailer and poster have arrived online to help start building the hype. The trailer is embedded above, and the poster can be seen below.

Written by Micah Ranum, the film stars Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, Annabelle Wallis, Hero Fiennes Tiffin, Melanie Scrofano, Zahn McClarnon, and Shaun Smyth in the following story:

A reformed hunter (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) and a sheriff (Annabelle Wallis) are caught in a deadly game of cat and mouse when they set out to track a killer who may have kidnapped the hunter’s daughter five years ago.

THE SILENCING will be available to watch on DirecTV as of July 16th, with theatrical, digital, and On Demand releases to follow on August 14th.

I'm looking forward to checking this one out. Give the trailer a look and see if THE SILENCING belongs on your "must watch" list.
