Arrow in the Head's own JimmyO did not like writer/director Justin Dec's supernatural app movie COUNTDOWN, and you can read what he had to say about it in his 2/10 review. The film made $25 million at the domestic box office (luckily its budget was $6.5 million), so there are still a lot of horror fans out there who haven't seen it.
If you've been waiting for home video until you watch COUNTDOWN, we now know when the film is going to be available. STXfilms and Universal Pictures Home Entertainment have announced that COUNTDOWN will be getting a Digital release on January 7th, with a Blu-ray, DVD, and On Demand release to follow on January 21st.

The film stars Elizabeth Lail of the TV series You as
a young nurse who downloads an app that claims to predict exactly when a person is going to die. With only three days left to live and death closing in, she must find a way to save her life before time runs out.
Lail is joined in the cast by Jordan Calloway, Talitha Bateman, Tichina Arnold, P.J. Byrne, and Peter Facinelli.
