Well today happens to be an extremely slow news day, even for a Friday, so I’ve decided to share a couple cool videos with you all. Now I just happened to stumble on these videos within the last few days and they definitely had me raising my eyebrows, so I figured I’d see what you guys thought!
First up we’ve got a LEFT 4 DEAD video. I’m sure you’ve all heard of LEFT 4 DEAD, the insanely popular video game where you run around shooting the sh*t out of zombies. Well the game’s sequel recently hit shelves and to celebrate Mr. Eric Ruth of Eric Ruth Games has done a little downgrading with LEFT 4 DEAD: He created a remake of the game depicting what we would probably see if LEFT 4 DEAD was on NES. Oh yeah you read that right.
Now this version of LEFT 4 DEAD ‘is a standard top-down 4 directional action/shooter. Remade in the NES retro style, the resolution is at 256 x 240 and features 16 colors and a 4 sound channel soundtrack.’ The full game will feature every level from the game as well as all the special infected zombies. And here’s the kicker: The full game will be available for download for the PC on January 4, 2010! I sh*t you not folks! If you’ve ever had the urge to blow away zombies on the NES as ‘Francis’ or ‘Louis’ then you’ll have your chance! For more info check out EricRuthGames’ YouTube page.
Next up we’ve got a little teaser trailer for a movie called THE HORROR PICTURE REVENGE. Oh yeah… wait until you hear about this one.
THE HORROR PICTURE REVENGE is a short film currently in production from director Effrem J. Adams. The film will feature horror legends like Freddy Krueger, Jason Voorhees, Michael Myers, Ghostface, Chucky, Leatherface, Pinhead and more! What the f*ck indeed folks. Here’s the actual synopsis: Sarah, a wiccan/pagan high school student is the subject of a horrible prank. In an emotional felt revenge, she mortalizes the likes of Freddy, Jason, Michael Myers, and other horror movie icons to kill her peers. They must figure out how to break the spell and put the horror villains back in their DVD’s before it’s too late. Haha! That’s awesome! Why hasn’t this been made yet? Oh man… If you’re intrigued at all be sure to scope out the teaser trailer, hopefully it brings a smirk to your face.
