Couple more stills from Fright Night give us a lot more ‘Peter Vincent’

Well folks Craig Gillespie’s FRIGHT NIGHT is a little over a month away, so you know what that means right? The FRIGHT NIGHT goods should be coming at us pretty steadily in the next few weeks, not like they haven’t been already. Alas the FRIGHT NIGHT media train keeps right on rolling today with a look at two new stills courtesy of io9.

What’s the kicker with these new shots? Well they actually both showcase one of the film’s heroes – Mr. ‘Peter Vincent,’ which is of course played by David Tennant. Actually these aren’t any old boring shots either. First to the right we have ‘Vincent’ ready to blow some vamp’s head off then below we have him looking all badass as he gazes into a fire. Senior Charlie Brewster finally has it all – he’s running with the popular crowd and dating the hottest girl in high school. In fact, he’s so cool he’s even dissing his best friend Ed. But trouble arrives when an intriguing stranger Jerry moves in next door. He seems like a great guy at first, but there’s something not quite right – and everyone, including Charlie’s mom, doesn’t notice. After witnessing some very unusual activity, Charlie comes to an unmistakable conclusion: Jerry is a vampire preying on his neighborhood. Unable to convince anyone that he’s telling the truth, Charlie has to find a way to get rid of the monster himself.

Along with Tennant the flick also stars Anton Yelchin, Toni Collette, Sandra Vergara, Christopher Mintz-Plasse, Imogen Poots and Colin Farrell. Get ready folks because FRIGHT NIGHT is all geared up to bite down into theaters come August 19th!
