Well it looks like Hollywood’s most unfashionable couple is returning to where it all began. David Arquette has confirmed that he and his wife Courtney Cox will definitely be doing a fourth SCREAM movie, because really, what else do they have to do? Here’s what Dewey had to say about the work in progress:
I fell in love with my wife on Scream, so the opportunity to bring Dewey back to life and for my wife to play that really bitchy character again, it’s just going to be really fun. It’s just great.
We’ve known for some time that Kevin Williamson has been working on the screenplay, and that the husband and wife team were rumoured to be cast, but this is the closest thing to an official announcement that we’ve had. Arquette also mentioned that he “really hopes” Neve Campbell will reprise her role as Sydney, and that although he’s seen some of what Williamson’s been up to, he’s not at liberty to discuss plot details. Hey David, if I promise to walk your dogs for you, will you tell us then?
