Creepshow Doc Just Desserts to hit American shelves this year

Although the documentary JUST DESSERTS: THE MAKING OF CREEPSHOW has been finished since 2007, it has only been available as a bonus feature on UK special edition releases of CREEPSHOW. However, this year Synapse Films and Red Shirt Pictures will be bringing the doc to American Blu-Ray for the first time in a standalone release with a massive crate of bonus material.

In addition to the featured interviews with George Romero, Tom Savini, producer Richard P. Rubinstein, as well as stars Adrienne Barbeau, Tom Atkins, and Ed Harris in the doc itself, there will be a commentary by documentary producer Michael Felsher. They've also thrown in a separate commentary with actor John Amplas, Savini assistant Darryl Ferrucci, and art director Bruce Alan Miller, who aren't featured in the doc.

The release will also feature an interview with cinematographer Michael Gornick, extended interview outtakes, deleted sequences, a behind-the-scenes still gallery, and some more making-of footage. Plus (and here's the kicker), the release will feature the Tom Savini documentary SCREAM GREATS VOL. 1, produced by Fangoria in 1986 and subsequently lost in time.

There's no official release date announced yet for this jam-packed release, but rest assured you'll read it here as soon as it happens!
