AAAHHHHH!!!! Another creepy freakin’ killer clown! Oh man, no matter how many times I catch one of those white-faced f*ckers lurking about, it still scares the shit out of me. Again, if handled well enough, this can be quite the enjoyable fright and I do believe we may currently have such a case with the latest clip from the flick FRAYED. Click on the image below, if you dare, and witness a cop and two chicks getting stalked/attacked by the film’s slasher… wearing an effectively chilling clown mask!
The clip actually offers some simple, slasher-friendly frights. It’s nothing incredibly innovative or even new, but it does deliver, in my opinion. Give it a look and judge for yourself. Here is the similar-to-HALLOWEEN plot: A small town sheriff’s worst nightmare comes true when his homicidal son escapes from a psychiatric hospital. An intense manhunt ensues as the dark secret behind the son’s evil past becomes revealed.
Lionsgate will be releasing this bad boy on DVD August 25th. It was directed by Norbert Caoili and Rob Portmann from a script by Dino Moore and Caoili. The cast is composed of Aaron Blakely, Kellee Bradley, Don Brady, Colin Byrne, Alena Dashiell, Tony Doupe, and Tim Evans. If any further clowny pics come our way, I’ll try to be brave and put them up.
