Creepy new photo from Pedro Almodovar’s The Skin I Inhabit

Here’s the first official still from Pedro Almodovar’s next flick, the thriller THE SKIN THAT I INHABIT (or THE SKIN I LIVE IN, depending on who is doing the translating). We brought you a couple of behind-the-scenes peeks at the flick HERE, but this one really gives us the goods. That is, of course, Antonio Banderas, playing doctor in a very weird way indeed, with a patient who seems less than thrilled to have Puss ‘n Boots looming over her.

Based on the book “Tarantula” by Thierry Jonquet, THE SKIN THAT I INHABIT carries the following synopsis:
Richard Lafargue, a well-known plastic surgeon, pursues and captures Vincent Moreau, who raped Lafargue’s daughter and left her hopelessly mad in an asylum. Lafargue is determined to exact an atrocious vengeance, and an ambiguous, even sadomasochistic relationship develops between self-appointed executioner and victim.

Elena Anaya, Marisa Paredes, Jan Cornet, Roberto Álamo, Blanca Suárez, Eduard Fernández and José Luis Gómez also star in the flick, which is due to hit theaters in November.
