Cruise on Valkyrie

Psychiatry despising, vitamin advocate Tom Cruise, who’s so far kept silent about his involvement in the Bryan Singer directed drama VALKYRIE, in which he plays Col. Claus von Stauffenberg, the leader of a plot to assassinate Hitler within the German army ranks during World War II, despite harsh criticism from the German media due to his eternal devotion to a new age religion and the timeless alien cleansing principles it dictates, has finally spoken about the film and his initial interest in taking the part. “Intuitively I saw a similarity in the profile of this man with myself. Naturally that’s something that makes an actor curious,” he tells German weekly “Bunte”. As for the criticism? He says: “All I can say is, ‘Save your comments until you see the movie’…I want to think positive and concentrate on the film. I carry a great responsibility to the Germans, for whom a man like Stauffenberg means so much.” Read the rest of what he had to say over HERE.
