Cult of Chucky, Leatherface & Inside remake premiering at Fright Fest!

God Bless Fright Fest.

Fright Fest is one of those annual film festivals that I keep a close eye on. Not that I have been able to attend any of the events in my life so far, but because this festival – along with Toronto After Dark and the Midnighters selection at SXSW to name a few – are film fests that give you a heads up on what the top genre flicks are going to be within the coming year.

And Fright Fest's selections this year seems to be keeping right up with that cred they've built. This year the event will host the World Premieres of such flicks as CULT OF CHUCKY, Adam Wingard's DEATH NOTE, The long-awaited Texas Chainsaw prequel LEATHERFACE and the remake of INSIDE!

That is a hell of a list of horror movies right there! I'd almost be willing to fly my happy ass all the way over to London just to finally get a glimpse at LEATHERFACE. Side Note: Ironic that LEATHERFACE is directed by the guys that helmed the original INSIDE… Interesting…

This year's fest will also boast flicks such as TO HELL AND BACK: THE KANE HODDER STORY, PSYCHOPATHS, SEQUENCE BREAK, 68 KILL, IT STAINS THE SANDS RED, NIGHTWORLD, KILLING GROUND, MAYHEM, STILL/BORN and TRAGEDY GIRLS! Holy hell, that's a lot of top flicks.
