The website for CURSED has finally gone live…sort of. If you call a front page with trailer links a live website. But feel free to check it out for yourself. At least the poster images from this flick have been cool so far. ‘Cause nothing else looks promising about it.
In fact the sparseness of the site almost screams, we’ve butchered this and we know it so we’re not gonna put any more money into it! Which is always, y’know, inspiring and crap like that. Hell, BOOGEYMAN proved this past weekend that you no longer need a good movie to open well as a horror flick, you just need good marketing. So if the studio has given up on CURSED despite that, whoo boy. Tough to imagine just how bad it might be. OK, not really.
Ah well, it’ll probably open well enough to guarantee an unnecessary straight to video sequel anyway. And isn’t that the new mark of genre greatness friends?
