Curve will Thrill

What do you get when you take one part RED EYE and combine it with one part THE HITCHER? You get the upcoming thriller CURVE, from screenwriter Kimberly Lofstrom Johnson.

The flick basically goes like this: Chick picks up hitch hiker, who seems friendly at first then goes nut-crazy psycho on her. Instead of being overtaken, she takes matters into her own hands and drives the car off the embankment… where she becomes stuck upside and the hitch hiker gets free… to further torment her. Two words come to mind when hearing about this flick: F*CK and YEAH! Sounds like an intense ride to me, count my white ass in!

Jamie Vanderbilt (who wrote David Fincher’s ZODIAC) is set to make his directorial debut with the flick, which was inspired by an episode of Oprah of all things- about how women should do anything they can not to be taken to a second location in a situation like that. Who knew Oprah had more to offer than relishing celebrities and giving away hundreds of thousands of dollars of free shite to her audience?

No casting decisions have been made yet, but stick around and we’ll keep you posted. To read up on Johnson’s journey in writing this flick, go ahead and click HERE, and prepare for CURVE, which should be starting production any day now.
