I know I’m in the minority in terms of having really dug
James Wan’s
DEAD SILENCE
(spooking DVD shelves on June 26, 2007 –
pre order it here) Granted
the film felt compromised and interfered with but the old school feel, the
hints of genre brilliance that were spread throughout and Wan’s arresting
audio/visual approach made me
appreciate the whole none the less.
Now, I have yet to see the Unrated DVD (am
watching it tonight actually) but did find these goodies while snooping online –
an alternate (Pre studio bullying?) ending
for the film and some slick deleted scenes.
